Sauvignon is of medium intensive straw yellow colour with a shade of gold. It is known for its mature varietal aroma. Only when this wine breathes it develops its pronounced char- acteristics. Malvasia combines a medium intensive straw yellow colour with the distinctive mature aroma. The wine is dry; it is mediumbodied with softly pronounced acidity. Its taste is full and recalls vineyards basking in the sunshine and its aftertaste is warm and clear.
The aroma of Chardonnay is inviting and fresh, with a fruit note reminiscent of ripe apples and flowers. Its straw yellow colour of medium intensity overflows with golden shades, while its well- balanced acidity gives it a full taste. Its fruity character fills the mouth with luxury, offering a slightly oily aftertaste.
Zelen is an autochthonic wine sort from the Vipava valley. It is of straw yellow colour with distinct greenish shades. Its gentle aroma is complemented with traces of green apple, pear and typical Mediterranean herbs. Once in the mouth it is pleasantly refreshing with a harmonic, rich taste.
Merlot is of medium intensive ruby red colour with scarlet shades. A lively fruit aroma is reminiscent of sour cherry and raspberry. The wine is dry with pronounced acidity. Acids are noticeable and vivid. This is the right core for those who like exploring.
Cabernet Sauvignon is of an intensive ruby red colour with shades of pomegranate. Its fruity aroma is magically mixed with the flavour of spices and sour cherries. The acids are emphasized and noticeable, which gives the wine the characteristic of its variety. The aftertaste is lengthy and pleasant.
Rose is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Its colour is pink and red with a copper hue. A palette of forest fruits can be sensed in the aromas. The wine has a pleasant and strong fruity taste with tender and refreshing acid. It can be served as an aperitif with cold starters or with seafood, white meat, pasta and rice.
Pinela is a local variety of Vipavska dolina. The wine has an intense gold and yellow hue and soothing texture. It is fresh and light with a soft and sophisticated taste. Tender and fruity aromas of citrus, vanilla and forest fruits can be distinguished. It goes well with white meat, fish and cold starters.
